As usual, our Monday started with a flurry of kids who wanted to show us their injuries from the weekend or because they did not want to be in school today. By 9:30 we had seen over 20 kids. By lunch time we were up to
36....38....40 it was changing by the minute! And by the end of the day....over 50. When I talk about this subject at cocktail parties on the weekends (Ha!), my friends tell me I am too nice. Do you think if I acted and looked like this, they would stop coming?
And I believe one or two of my nephews were in that mob as well?
ReplyDeleteI think we should just lock the door!
ReplyDeleteNot bad. All you need to add are sensible Nurse-Mate shoes and you'll scare them away.
ReplyDeleteYou are super nice. I could tell the first time I ever came over : ). I think my son likes to go to the nurse a lot too. He has a hard time in school. His school nurse is so nice. I am thankful she is someone that can listen to him when he is feeling stressed. I think all the people that work in schools are part super hero! Thank you for what you do!
