Would you send your child to school sick? Happens all the time with mild illness but a fever of 103?
If your child was going on a field trip to the beach for 5 hours, would you remember to apply sunscreen before putting them on the bus in the morning? Apparently not for more than 10 kids in a class of 22.....
Call me cranky but why don't people think (I know we are all busy but I am busy too and should be able to concentrate on more important things).....and I do think there should be a test that everyone MUST pass before becoming parents.....

No comment on your constituency you got there.
ReplyDeleteI just don't get sending children to school sick. I realize that people work and have limited time off, but a fever of 103 and a case of H1N1 in the school would be enough to make me isolate my child. Don't they all have nannies there anyway to take care of sick kids?
ReplyDelete25 years from now, when those children have melanoma, the parents will blame the school for it, not themselves for not applying sunscreen.
People are dumb!
I am sorry you have so much stress sometimes. That is the worst! I know you are ready for the school year to be over, aren't you?
